Privacy policy
How information is handled when you use the M11 Junction 8 & Priory Wood Roundabout Improvements website.
The project organisation must confirm the legal data controller, postal contact address, retention periods and service-provider arrangements before this notice can be treated as its final privacy policy.
Who to contact
For privacy questions about this website, contact the project at info@stanstedjunctionworks.co.uk or 01279 961663. The organisation legally responsible for personal information (the data controller) and its postal address are awaiting confirmation.
Browsing project information
You do not need an account to read published project information, view drawings or use the question assistant. Hosting and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, request times and error information to deliver and protect the website.
No optional advertising or analytics cookies have been added to this website. See our cookie policy for browser storage details.
Contacting the project
If you email or telephone the project, you may provide your name, contact details and information about your enquiry. This information is used to respond to you and manage the enquiry. Please provide only what is needed and avoid sending sensitive personal information unless the project team asks for it through an appropriate channel.
The project organisation must confirm its enquiry-handling arrangements, lawful basis and retention period.
AI project information assistant
The assistant is optional. When you submit a question, your question and the recent conversation are sent through Lovable AI Gateway to an AI model provider to generate an answer using published project information. Do not enter names, addresses, contact details or other personal or sensitive information.
This website does not save your conversation to its project database. The conversation is held temporarily on the page and is cleared when you leave or reload it, or select “Start again”. This does not mean that hosting, AI Gateway or model-provider services keep no operational records: their processing and retention arrangements must be confirmed by the project organisation.
AI answers may be inaccurate. Check the linked published sources, particularly before travelling, and contact the project if you need clarification. The assistant does not monitor live traffic or make decisions about you.
Administrator accounts
The protected administration area processes account and sign-in information to authenticate authorised users and control access to content management. Authentication information is stored in the administrator’s browser to maintain their session. Public visitors do not need to sign in.
Service providers and sharing
The website uses Lovable Cloud for website services, authentication, published content and document storage, and Lovable AI Gateway for assistant requests. Relevant hosting, email, telephone and AI service providers may process information necessary to provide their services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law.
The project organisation must confirm the providers acting on its behalf, processing locations and any safeguards for transfers outside the UK. This notice does not promise that information stays within the UK.
Why information is processed and how long it is kept
Information is processed to provide the website, keep it secure, answer project enquiries and provide the optional question assistant. The project organisation must confirm the applicable UK GDPR lawful bases and how long enquiry, account and operational records are kept.
Your cookie choice is remembered on your device for up to 180 days. Clearing browser storage removes it sooner.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Some rights are subject to conditions or exceptions.
To ask about these rights, use the project contact details above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
